"Drunk Chicken"

This was the special of the day on Thursday, 26 November 09. Deboned chicken pieces, cooked in wine until falling apart. A few mushrooms, peas and cream completed the dish.

Fruit Kebab Platter. Function on Sunday, 22 November. I took over the host's kitchen, cooked up a warm breakfast and large spread of baked goodies. It was very impressive and as usual, too much food... But no-one can complain if there are delicious leftovers right?

Special Saturday 7 November
This is it! The main course below. Can you believe how beautiful traditionally good food can be? This is our mission.

My great good old friend from many years past. She finally arrived and enjoyed my special on Saturday. I'm sure she will now also become a regular feature.
PS. Always full on 'nonsense' with food... but she completely cleaned out her plate. Thus, I am very impressed.

Our guest every weekend! We are honoured to have her as a VIP. I hope she likes this picture, I cought her off guard whilst enjoying her meal.

My Place in Pretoria CBD, My Place on Moot... She has not missed a single weekend since we have partially opened. Definately a VIP.

She eats at My Place nearly every weekend, bringing with her a refreshing vibrance. And since My Place is now her place as well, she and I are going to plan 'events' weekends. So, any bikers out there... watch this space!
"Tokkie"
This incredible soul visits us at My Place in town everyday, and My Place on Moot every Saturday. We love her deeply. She is a dear friend more than anything else.

The beautiful Nicole. She visits every Saturday and brings a warm smile to all of us.

What can I say? My most hardcore supporter, she has been there through everything. It is thanks to her that we decided to branch into private catering. She is all in one... my friend, my agent. What a beautiful soul.

Yolande Marais, but we call her Lindie. She clearly has Blue blood in her, judging from those horns. Incredible personality, and regular visitor to My Place. She duly deserves the title VIP.
I will call this charming person only "uncle". It is strange how you sometimes meet people in this industry that really creep into your heart.

This gentleman is my newest customer. Of course when he is not enjoying a fantastic meal at My Place, he is flying his private helicopter or speeding on one of his three motorcylces. He travels between Hoedspruit on his game farm and his two Villa's in Mexico (where he is this week). He is living proof that one can do and accomplish anything you want in life.

Traditional Oxtail. Wow, I had guests talking about this for days afterwards. We did this on our second weekend of being open. Of course, all Saturday specials are preceded with a starter and rounded off with a delicious dessert.

Here I have decided to post a few pictures of the lovely garden restaurant. With all the good rains we have had recently, the new garden is coming to life and really starting to take shape.
